A message from the in-coming President: Kieran Coffey
Hello everybody and welcome to the new season of toastmasters. I hope you all had a great summer and you have loads of new material for speeches!
The first news for the new season is that we have a new venue confirmed. We will be meeting in the Bealick Room in the Castle Hotel in Macroom. Take a look at the “When we Meet” page for the full years schedule. I would like to congratulate Anthony and all the members of the outgoing committee for the excellent job they did last year. This year’s committee members have big boots to fill.
In order to emulate last year’s high standards we have set ourselves a number of goals. The main goal for this season is to boost the membership numbers. So if you are a current member and you have any friends or family that might be interested in joining please encourage them to come along. If you are just visiting our website for the first time we would welcome you to come and join us any night we are having a meeting.
There is no charge for guests so you can see if you enjoy the meetings before joining. Most importantly for any guest is that you will always be made to feel welcome, you won’t be asked to speak if you don’t feel comfortable doing so and all meetings are fun and in an easygoing style.
